iCompass is a Place-Based Traveler Information and Emergency Management System - a sophisticated combination of software and hardware developed for use in Rest Areas, Welcome Centers and other locations on highways and interstates roadways and toll roads. The iCompass software infrastructure offers a fully DOT funded products and services and offers a unique add-on enabler of highway sponsorships of these signs within the right of way highway

How this product is different from competitor products?
Unlike all the competitors and their products listed above, iCompass is designed and targeted specifically for location in specific places and optimized for information display and capture of specific customers. It is part of the customer experience of the place it is located in. That is way they are more used the people’s phone in the locations they are installed.
The State contracts that these systems get installed and operated under do not get won by general digital signage companies but by systems that are designed specifically for the highway systems, of which iCompass has a huge market share.
Although Travellers Marketing is a big name in the highway sponsorship field, they have contracted with us on State contracts that require these kind of systems. The trailer systems can be made much more inexpensively by a small company than large defense contractors and thus we have been able to compete based on price and still make a good profit.
